Priyanka Chopra Jonas is set to add another milestone to her remarkable international journey as she will be honoured with the prestigious Global Vanguard Honor at Gold Gala 2026. The annual event, organised by Gold House, will take place on May 9 at The Music Centre in downtown Los Angeles. Now in its fifth edition, the gala has grown into one of the most prominent celebrations recognizing Asian Pacific and multicultural leaders across entertainment, business, technology, fashion, sports and social impact.
This year’s theme, A New Gold World, highlights the idea of building shared prosperity in a time increasingly marked by division. More than 650 influential leaders from different industries are expected to gather to celebrate the Gold 100 List and honour personalities who have made a significant impact globally.
Priyanka Chopra will receive the Global Vanguard Honor in recognition of her extraordinary 25-year career that has successfully bridged Eastern and Western entertainment industries. From her celebrated performances in Hindi cinema to her successful transition into Hollywood, Priyanka has consistently broken barriers and expanded opportunities for South Asian representation on global platforms. Through her production company, Purple Pebble Pictures, she has also championed emerging and underrepresented voices.
Joining her on the list of top honourees are martial arts legend Jet Li, who will receive the Gold Legend Honor, and actor Simu Liu, who will be presented with the Gold Mogul Honor. Other notable names being recognized this year include Charles Melton, Eileen Gu, Revathi Advaithi and EJAE.
The evening promises an impressive entertainment line-up as well. Comedian Bowen Yang will open the gala with a monologue, while actors Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh and Poorna Jagannathan will lead the second half of the event. Singer Hayley Kiyoko is also scheduled to perform, while speakers including Theresia Gouw, HUMAN MADE, Tejasvi Manoj, Jen Lee and Brett Bolton will share their perspectives on culture and innovation.
Priyanka’s latest honour comes during an especially busy phase in her career. In 2025, she starred in Prime Video’s Heads of State and The Bluff, while also producing the latter. Her Hollywood portfolio already includes major projects such as Baywatch, The Matrix Resurrections and Love Again.
In India, Priyanka is preparing for a much-awaited return to the big screen with SS Rajamouli’s upcoming epic Varanasi, co-starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. She is also set to reprise her role in Citadel Season 2, premiering on May 6 on Prime Video.
