Mumbai, May 31 (IANS) Online travel aggregator EaseMyTrip has slipped into the loss in the fourth quarter (Q4) of FY26, reporting a consolidated net loss of Rs 15.4 crore compared to a profit of Rs 13.9 crore in the corresponding quarter last financial year (Q4 FY25). 

The company had posted a profit of Rs 3.4 crore in the preceding quarter of FY26. Despite the quarterly loss, EaseMyTrip reported a modest increase in revenue from operations, which rose 8.9 per cent year-on-year to Rs 151.9 crore in the January-March quarter from Rs 139.5 crore a year ago.

On a sequential basis, however, revenue remained largely flat, inching up just 0.1 per cent from Rs 151.6 crore in Q3 FY26, as per its filing.

Including other income of Rs 14 crore, the company’s total income stood at Rs 166 crore during the quarter under review.

Meanwhile, total expenses surged 38.6 per cent year-on-year (YoY) and 18.4 per cent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to Rs 153.2 crore, impacting profitability.

For the full financial year FY26, EaseMyTrip reported a net loss of Rs 47.5 crore against a profit of Rs 108.6 crore in FY25.

Revenue from operations for the year also declined 8.8 per cent to Rs 535.7 crore from Rs 587.3 crore in the previous fiscal.

The company’s EBITDA dropped sharply by over 85.8 per cent year-on-year to Rs 22.9 crore in FY26, while EBITDA margin narrowed significantly to 4 per cent from 26.7 per cent in FY25.

The company did not disclose EBITDA figures for the March quarter.

EaseMyTrip’s air ticketing business continued to remain its largest revenue contributor, although revenue from the segment fell 14.7 per cent to Rs 80 crore in Q4 FY26 from Rs 93.9 crore in the year-ago quarter.

In contrast, the hotels and holiday packages business posted strong growth, with revenue surging nearly 148 per cent to Rs 57.8 crore during the quarter compared to Rs 23.3 crore in Q4 FY25.

Revenue from other services declined 36.9 per cent to Rs 14.1 crore from Rs 22.3 crore in the corresponding quarter last financial year.
