New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on June 11 hit back at the ruling Congress Party for accusing Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi of indulging in political terrorism.
“This is an example of Congress Party’s mental bankruptcy that last time it called Narendra Modi a ‘merchant of death’ and itself jumped into the ‘death well’ by losing the elections. This time again, the party is calling Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party ‘militants.’ Definitely, these tactics will not help Congress in the elections,” said BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.
The recent resignation by Modi’s critic BJP general secretary Sanjay Joshi from the party has flared political debates.
To a poser on this issue, Naqvi said that the Congress Party would not be able to take any political leverage of the situation.
