Jeetu Shukla invents anti-collision train device and car safety device

E-mail Print PDF

Jeetu Shukla, a 27-year-old mobile mechanic, has devised an anti-collision device for  Indian Railways. His device can sense another train on the same track even at a distance of five kilometers giving enough time to the railway authorities to amend their mistake. He presently has a working model to demonstrate this. The device sends radio signals to both the train drivers to apply brakes. Even if the drivers continue to ignore this, the electric supply of the overhead wire will trip and the trains will come to a halt. Imagine the number of lives that would be saved if this technology is implemented.

He has also developed a car safety device which has many features. In case of fire break out in the car the central locking system will be deactivated allowing the passengers to come out of the car. In case of theft, the owner will be alerted over mobile and the location of the car (All over India) will also be transmitted; furthermore the car will stop after proceeding for two to three minutes. It also includes an alcohol sensor. The owner will be alerted over mobile if the driver is drunk.
