Big relief for Raja, court grants bail

New Delhi: After 15-month-long wait, former Telecom Minister and 2G scam accused A. Raja will be moving out of jail.

In a much-needed relief for the former Telecom Minister, a Delhi court on May 15 granted bail to A. Raja in connection with 2G scam.

According to reports, pronouncing its verdict on the bail plea of Raja, the court granted him bail on the ground of parity. Court granted bail to Raja on his furnishing personal and surety bonds of Rs. 20 lakh each. However, the court said that he cannot visit Tamil Nadu without court’s permission.
