Diamond Bar, CA: The recent bizarre gang-rape in  a bus in Delhi proves that  how low India has gone  today.  My heart goes out in sympathy for the poor  victim girl. I pray for her soul. Entire India is protesting and many are making big speeches and talking big as if no one to blame.  Law and order is at the bottom. Film personalities are shouting from the rooftops against  this grizzly gang-rape.  Ultimately  it will die down and the  business as usual will be the norm.

But there is a need for introspection for the film industry. The movies being produced are decidedly responsible for such degradation of society. There is a direct connection between  the spreading like fire the Disco vulgar culture, pubs and liquor stores at every corner.

Why I say so is because the songs nowadays are well suited for Disco dancing; drinking of liquor; and it is decidedly spoiling the youth of the country.

For the sake of money or profits, junk movies are being produced.  One time Moham-med Rafi said: “We must give to society good films; we must not spoil the society. But no one cares nowadays. Money, money and more money is the name of the game.  The film sensor board does not care. Producers and financiers do not care. Actors do not care. There are no more like Sahir Ludhianwi, Majrooh Sultan Puri, Raj Kapoor, Dalip Kumar, Guru Dutt, Nargis, Meena Kumari, Waheeda Rehman and many more.  Item girl and cheap stories are the name of the game to make money.  Same is with Disco places.  Easy money. They all want more money.

In the British Raj such bizarre horrible thing would not have happened. Corrup-tion was at the minimum level or society in general lived with moral values.  For this horrible deterioration of India culture, film industry and  the government are responsible. India is in the grip of sexual intoxication and corruption.

If Gandhi, Nehru, Subhash Chander Bose, Sardar Patel, Bhagat Singh, Veer Savarkar, Gulzari Lal Nanda, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Radha Krishnan, Kidwai, and those, who fought for the Independence come back to this India of today, they would be crying.

Disco, pubs and liquor store are rapidly destroying the  culture of India. What British could not do to India in 400 years, free India has done by spilling the garbage and  killing the Indian culture. Politicians are on bootleggers’ side to spread the liquor sales. Greed and corruption is all over. Politicians want more and more in salaries and perks when 35 carore people go hungry.  .

It is sad but true that India is on a slippery path.
