Chandigarh: A student of University Business School (UBS) at Panjab University bagged a pay package of Rs. 7 lakh offered by Mahindra and Mahindra on the third day of the placement drive.
Future General also visited the department to hire students on an annual package of Rs. 6 lakh. The company conducted the recruitment process till late evening. Student placement coordinator Anirban Saha said the results would be declared on December 12.
Around 10 students of the department have already bagged a package of Rs. 7.8 lakh, offered by Ernst and Young on the first day of placements.
Other companies that have already visited the department include New Gen Technologies, SBI Life and ICICI Bank.
While New Gen Technologies took three students on an annual package of Rs. 7 lakh, the ICICI Bank hired 10 students with a package of Rs. 6.5 lakh.
