Patna: At least 18 people were killed in a stampede in Patna’s Ganga Ghat during the Chhat festival celebrations on November 19.
The dead included seven men and seven women. Many are reported to be injured in the stampede that happened at Adalatganj “Chhat Ghat” following a bridge collapse.
All the devotees injured in the stampede have been rushed to Patna Medical College Hospital. Bodies of the dead have also been brought to the PMCH.
