Chicago: I enjoy reading India Tribune regularly.  It carries very incisive editorials and informative articles.

I read with great interest the front-page interview  — BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh heading for world recognition — by J.V. Lakshmana Rao, published in India Tribune dated October 26.

Being an Indian American hailing from the prosperous Gujarat state, I felt that Gujarat has become a model state for Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who has adopted not only many good things initiated by Narendra Modi but also has launched many new projects.

Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Narendra Modi have proved, amid many corrupt politicians, that India still has also some good politicians, who are committed for the development of the country. I am particularly impressed  by Shivraj Singh Chauhan for his initiative to save girl children and give all opportunities to girls to prove that they are no less than boys. Parents must know that they have to treat their female and male children equally and give them equal opportunities for educating themselves.

If all other chief ministers of Indian states emulate the example of Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Narendra Modi, India will become number one prosperous country in the world.

I also read the article — Residents Medical Group helps FMGs in getting into right residency programs – published in the same edition of India Tribune. I congratulate Dr. Arnold Michael Everest, President of  Residents Medical Group, for helping foreign medical graduates hailing from India, Pakistan and other countries to get into the residency program of the US. Dr. Arnold Michael Everest is doing a great service and I thank Lakshmana Rao for interviewing him for the benefit of foreign medical graduates.

In the same issue,  India Tribune also published an article — Spread Vivekananda’s message to celebrate his 150th birth anniversary: Nivedita.  It is an interview with B. Nivedita, vice president of Vivekananda Kendram of Kanyakumari, India. Chicago enjoys a special place in the life and work of   Sri Swami Vevakananda from where, he had initiated the spread  his Vedantic message with his powerful address to the first Parliament of World Religions. Continuing the legacy, Swami Chidanata of Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago has fulfilled the wish of Swami Vivekananda by constructing Sri Ramakrishna Universal Temple in Homer Glen, IL.

I congratulate publisher Prashant Shah, editor J.V. Lakshmana Rao and India Tribune staff for their yeomen services in giving us very informative and enjoyable reading material. I request them to continue their good work for the benefit of its thousands of readers.
